Centenary of Public health Department: Mini marathon in Coimbatore to mark centenary celebrations

More than 50 health workers enthusiastically participated in the mini-marathon organised by the Coimbatore district health department as the centenary celebrations of the Department of Public Health and Disease Control are being celebrated across Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: The centenary celebrations of the Department of Public Health and Disease Control, Government of Tamil Nadu are being celebrated across the state.



As a part of this, the Coimbatore District Public Health and Disease Control Department conducted a mini marathon. It was flagged off by Dr Aruna, Deputy Director, Health Department.

More than 50 health workers participated in the mini-marathon.

The marathon, which started in front of the Coimbatore district collectorate, passed through the race course and culminated at the VOC ground.
