Coimbatore corporation takes alternative steps to manage ensuing water crisis.


Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner (in-charge) P. Gandhimathi conducted a meeting today at the Coimbatore Corporation Office to discuss the measures have been taken and have to be taken to ensure uniform distribution of drinking water to all the 100 wards in the city. 

Points discussed:

*Additional lorries to be deployed for uniform water supply.

* Engineers of all wards are advised to draft futuristic plans to manage the emerging water crisis during summer and attend to people's grievances on priority.

* A bore-well to be dug at the Vedapatti water bund to route the water to the adjoining areas.
