Migrant labourer attacked in broad daylight in Palladam, Tirupur, robbed of mobile phone

CCTV footage of three unidentified persons attacking Taufiq, a youth from the north India, was working in a mill near Palladam when his mobile phone was snatched and the video has gone viral on social media.


Tirupur: A cotton mill owned by Viswanathan is functioning in Palladam Chettu Estate in Tirupur district.

Taufiq( 37), a resident of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, was working in the mill. In this case, he had walked on the road to have tea 11th friday afternoon.

Three youths who were following him suddenly attacked Taufiq with a stone and snatched his mobile phone and fled. In this case, Taufiq went to the mill and told the mill owner what had happened.

Following this, the injured Taufiq was rushed to a hospital where he was treated. They later lodged an online complaint about the incident.

In the meantime, cctv footage of a worker from the north being assaulted and snatching his mobile phone has gone viral on social media.
