The 6th edition of the SAP conclave was hosted in the city today. The annual event was hosted to create the necessary awareness on the latest trends and opportunities in SAP. “eDrishyaa SAP Academy" hosts its annual conclave every year. This year we had a host of speakers who educated the participants on the latest trends and opportunities in SAP. At a time our economy and country is moving towards digitization, SAP has a key role to play. Catalyst 2017 that was hosted at this juncture proved to be an eye-opener for the participants.” Nawin Krishna, Business Head Operations, SAP Academy, Coimbatore said. A total of nearly 250 participants that included a mix of students, professionals and academicians participated in this day-long conclave.
Speaking at this conclave, Manoj Banthia, Head - SAP Education engaged audience on the various sectors that are currently taking advantage of SAP. Taking about SAP used in sports, he said “FIFA 2015 and IPL uses SAP HANA as a technology for data analytics. Several government organizations including BSNL, India Post and SBI also use SAP.”
Commenting on the future of SAP in our country, Manoj Banthia told the audience that “Nine out of 11 companies that come under the Maharatna category use SAP and 10 out of ten companies who have made it to the list of top 10 companies in the ET Now survey also use SAP.” Manoj Banthia said.
He also explained about the various modes ins getting SAP certification and the pros & corns. Along with him he had is colleagues Samarth Sawan & Dharshan Unni Representing SAP Education.
One of the many companies that is currently using SAP is Robert Bosch. Speaking on behalf of this corporate house was Mathew, Who heads SAP practices with Bosch. He briefed the audience about how SAP certified technicians are currently working with the various manufacturing sectors of Robert Bosch.
Kumar, a freelance SAP consultant made his audience aware on the various career opportunities that are available for an SAP consultant in India. The conclave ended with the Vote of Thanks that was delivered by Nawin Krishna.
