About 150 pounds of gold and Rs.40 lakhs was reported stolen from a home in Ramanuja Nagar which comes under the Singanallur police station limits. The gang of men, Muhammad Rizwan, Krishnan (Alias) Muthukrishnan, Parameshwaran (Alias) Eswaran, Saleem and Loganathan who were involved in this robbery have been arrested. The arrested persons were booked under the Goondas Act and are currently lodged in Coimbatore central prison.
