Special teams which were formed to nab the thieves who were involved in various thefts in Nilgiris District and the teams successfully nabbed the culprits who have been identified as Jerold, Darwinjudoo, Ragu, Shajahan.
It has been reported that on the orders from District police superintendent of Nilgiris Murali Rambha, the police assistant commissioner lead the team comprising of inspectors Thangam, and Ravindran and arrested this gang. The police have recovered 54 sovereigns of gold, 87 grams of silver along with two vehicles and a LED TV from them.
