Edappadi Palanisamy, Minister for Highways & Minor Ports in the present AIADMK government has said that an over bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs.121 crores in Ukkadam, Coimbatore.
The Minister gave this as an answer to the question raised by Singanallur MLA Na. Karthick of DMK in the Tamil Nadu assembly. The Minister has affirmed that the works will commence once the land acquisition process is completed.
