Sankara Educational Institutions, Coimbatore celebrated the 68th year of Indian Republic Day today in their college campus. Dr.H.Balakrishnan, Principal of Sankara college of science and commerce presided over the function and hoisted the national flag. In his republic day speech, he explained to the students on how Indian constitution was formed under the leadership of Dr. Ambedkar.
Mr.C.Priyesh, Principal of Sankara Polytechnic College spoke about non-violence and its impact on resolving social issue even in current scenarios. He also briefed about the contribution of our Army towards Nation’s safety.
The NSS students displayed their skills and expressed their patriotic feeling through Mime, Dance and oratorical events. The faculty members from Sankara Educational Institutions along with the students celebrated this Republic Day. Management, staff and students jointly sung the National Anthem and showed their spirit of patriotism.
