Jaggi Vasudev, known as Sadhguru is the Founder of Isha Foundation. Globally known for his yogic speeches and ideologies, Sadhguru has millions of followers across the globe.
Sadhguru has been nominated to receive the 'Padma Vibhushan' award the second-highest civilian award by the government of India, under 'spiritualism' category. The award will be conferred to him along with others on the 68th Republic day celebrations at New Delhi by the Hon' President of India.
Padma Vibhushan’ is awarded for one's exceptional and distinguished service in a particular discipline. Padma honours are conferred under three categories: Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. The awards are given in various disciplines and fields of activities like public affairs, art, social work, science and engineering, literature, sports and spiritualism.
