Lawyers in the city, today boycotted the court as a sign of condemnation against the police department for attacking the protestors of Jallikattu.
The protesting lawyers alleged that several students, women and lawyers who stood in support for the students were hurt during the lathi-charge by the police, yesterday. The lawyers raised slogans against the police department for attacking the protestors. Over hundred lawyers took part in the protest hosted in front of the court complex.
