Coimbatore : The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has launched an emergency number '1912' to report power supply issues.

The Indian Meteorological Department has announced red alert in Tamil Nadu tomorrow and all government offices are in a ready state to handle any adversities. Considering the situation, the TNEB has announced an emergency number 1912 to report about snapped electrical wires, fallen electric poles, or any other electrical emergencies.

Mani, Chief Engineer, TNEB said, “People from Coimbatore zone can call to this number and report about any electrical emergencies. This number is available round the clock and public can call this number during non-rainy days as well."
