Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas of Sulur on June 1 for essential maintenance work at the M.G. Pudur substation.
The monthly electrical maintenance activities at the M.G. Pudur substation are scheduled to take place tomorrow (June 1) from 9 AM to 5 PM. During this eight-hour maintenance window, power supply will be disrupted in multiple residential and commercial areas.
The affected areas include parts of Sulur, the industrial estate at Thozhilpettai, portions of Neelambur, and the Lakshmipuram-Kulathur regions. The electricity board has advised residents and business establishments in these localities to plan accordingly for the temporary power disruption.
This routine maintenance is conducted monthly to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical distribution system. The TNEB has requested the cooperation of consumers in these areas during the scheduled outage period. Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements for the eight-hour power cut, especially for essential services and appliances that require continuous electricity supply.
