The prestigious Padma Award is set to be presented on Republic Day 2024 and the District Social Welfare Office is inviting applications from all over the country for this award. District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has stated that people from various fields can apply for this award in recognition of their extraordinary contributions in their respective fields.
Coimbatore: District collector Kranthi kumar Pati stated that People from various disciplines can apply to the District Social Welfare Office for the "Padma Award 2024" award, which will be presented on Republic Day 2024 in recognition of their outstanding contributions in their respective fields.
In a statement issued by the district administration,The Padma Awards 2024 will be presented by the Government of India on Republic Day 2024. This includes literature and art. All persons with outstanding achievements and distinguished services, regardless of race, profession, designation, or gender, are eligible to apply for this award in all fields such as education, sports, medicine, social work, science and engineering, public affairs, civil services, commerce, and industry.
Applications are being invited from eligible candidates for the Padma Award 2024 for the year 2024 in the Coimbatore district. Apart from doctors and scientists, government employees, including those working in public sector undertakings, are not eligible for the Padma award.
Therefore, eligible persons belonging to Coimbatore district are receiving the application forms from the District Social Welfare Office functioning at the Collectorate and have to submit it to the District Social Welfare Office by 10th Of this month.
