Water supply to be suspended for Vadavalli, Kavundampalayam, Veerakeralam for two days (Jan 21 and 22)

Due to the on-going flyover work at Periyanayakanpalayam in Coimbatore, the City Corporation has announced that there will be no water supply to Kavundampalayam, Vadavalli and Veerakeralam areas for two days.


Coimbatore: Water is supply is carried out through Combined Water Supply Scheme for Kavundampalayam, Vadavalli and Veerakeralam areas which is maintained by the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board.

In the meanwhile, water pipes replacement works are being undertaken to enable the execution of Periyanaickenpalayam flyover work. Due to this, there will be no water supply for two days on January 21 and January 22.

The supply will be resumed on January 23 after the completion of the pipeline work.

The Coimbatore Municipal Corporation has also asked the respective local bodies and the general public to make alternate arrangements for two days through their local water sources.
