'Details of ration card, PAN Card, GST should be linked to property tax assessment number by Jan. 31:' CCMC Commissioner

In order to improve the details of the assessees in the Municipal administration software, all the residents of Coimbatore Corporation areas have been asked to link their ration cards with their property tax assessment numbers.


Coimbatore: In order to improve the details of the assessees in the Municipal administration software, all the residents in Coimbatore Corporation areas have been asked to link their ration cards with their property tax assessment numbers.

Business entities should link details of PAN card or GST numbers with their property tax assessment number. It has also been instructed by the Directorate of Municipal Administration to link PAN card or GST with the lease allotment number of tenants of tax-free properties of the Corporation.

Therefore, the residents of Coimbatore Corporation areas along with documents such as a copy of their property tax book and a copy of the ration card, as well as owners of commercial establishments operating in Corporation areas along with a copy of their property tax book or PAN card or GST documents and annual lease category tenants for Corporation tax-free items and the monthly shop owners along with the details of the allotted lease numbers, along with the document copies of their PAN card or GST numbers need to be meet the concerned zonal offices from 9 am to 4 pm, in person and submit documents by Jan. 31, 2023 to the special centre set up for this purpose," added CCMC Commissioner, M Prathap.
