A press release issued by the Police department details the eligibility criteria as follows.

Applicants should have passed or failed SSLC, and they should be in the age group of between20 years ( completed) and 45 years. They should have their domicile in the city police limits. Service-mindedness and physical fitness are obligatory to join the force.

SSLC mark sheet, transfer certificate, proof of address, and a pass port size photo should be submitted along with the application.
