District Collector advises small, medium and large enterprises to fully comply with Covid-19 guidelines

All Covid-19 restrictions apply to everyone, including employees, load-bearing workers, motorists and visitors to the company. Businesses that do not follow standard guidelines will be prosecuted.


Coimbatore: In view of the rapid spread of coronavirus infection, the public should strictly follow the standard guidelines prescribed by the government.

All persons entering the industry should not be allowed into the industry without being tested for temperature. Facilities for hand washing and hand sanitizing should be provided. Employees and those entering the industry must wear double masks. All employees must take both doses Covid-19 vaccine and social distancing should be followed.

These restrictions apply to everyone, including employees, load-bearing workers, motorists and visitors to the company. Businesses that do not follow standard guidelines will be prosecuted. In addition, employees working in the factory during the curfew must keep their office ID card and certificate of vaccination with them when they go to work.

In addition, companies are requested to instruct employees of IT companies to work from home. Coimbatore District Collector Sameeran has asked all businesses to follow the government's standard guidelines and cooperate to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Coimbatore district.
