Food for thought; Ideas invited for ‘Swachh Technology Change’ in Coimbatore

The City Corporation Commissioner has invited ideas and solutions for the Swachh Technology Change, the best ideas will be forwarded to the State Government and cash prizes will be rewarded.



Coimbatore: The City Corporation Commissioner has invited ideas and solutions for the Swachh Technology Change, the best ideas will be forwarded to the State Government and cash prizes will be rewarded.

The Corporation Commissioner, Raja Gopal Sunkara has invited ideas for the Government of Tamil Nadu Commissionerate of Municipal Administration, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and the Coimbatore District Administration’s joint venture, ‘Swachh Technology Change’. The individuals, public, private and educational institutions shall provide ideas for Social Inclusion, Zero Dump, Plastic Waste Management, and Transparency.

The solutions shall be emailed to, [email protected] before January 6, 2022, with the titles specified. The best from the received solutions shall be taken to the notice of the state government and will also be awarded cash prizes.

The first prize of Rs.5.00-lakh, the second prize is Rs.2.50-lakh, the third Rs.1.50-lakh, the fourth Rs.1.00-lakh, and the fifth prize of Rs.75,000/-will be rewarded.

The Commissioner also stated that further information can be obtained from the Coimbatore Corporation website, https://www.ccmc.gov.in.
