Minorities can apply for scholarships: 30th November last day for application

Those who have previously applied for renewal due to name and change in Aadhar card can also apply now. Officials said they can contact the District Backward and Minority Welfare Officer at the Collector's Office for more details.


Coimbatore: Scholarships are awarded on the basis of income and merit to minority students studying in school colleges.

Students who are eligible for the current Scholarship Renewal will have to renew their registration every year by updating their application on the National Scholarship Website tomorrow, Tuesday.

It has to be provided at the educational institutions and this does not require proof of income. Those who have previously applied for renewal due to name and change in Aadhar card can also apply now. Officials said they can contact the District Backward and Minority Welfare Officer at the Collector's Office for more details.
