Phase nine of mass vaccine drive to be held on November 18 in Coimbatore

The next phase of the mega Vaccination drive across Tamil Nadu will be held on November 18 at at 156 venues in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner has announced that the ninth phase of the mass vaccine drive against Covid-19 will be held on November 18 at 156 centers and will begin at 7 am on Thursday.

Over 90 percent have been vaccinated with the first dose and over 2 lakh people are eligible for the second dose. The Health Department has stated that there are no diet restrictions for inoculation of vaccine and those getting Covishield will receive their second dose after 84 days of their first jab. The time gap between both doses for Covaxin is 28 days.

100 percent safety has been reported for those who have received both doses of vaccine and hence the CCCMC Commissioner and Special Officer, Raja Gopal Sunkara has advised the public to benefit through the camp on November 18.
