NDA exams to be held on Nov. 14 in Coimbatore; District Collector issues guidelines

The UPSC NDA2 exams are to be held in 7 exam centers in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The UPSC NDA 2 Army examinations are scheduled to be held on November 14 in Coimbatore at 7 exam centers.

The District Collector, G S Sameeran issued guidelines to be followed by the candidates appearing for the UPSC NDA 2 exams on Sunday. As many as 2,329 candidates will appear for the examination.

The District Collector in his press release stated, “Adequate bus facilities have been provided to the examination centers from suburban bus stations like Ukkadam, Kavundampalayam, Singanallur, Sulur, Gandhipuram and Pollachi for the convenience of the candidates on behalf of the District State Transport Corporation. The candidates appearing for this examination should be at the premises an hour before the start of the examination which will be held as forenoon, noon and afternoon sessions. The doors will be shut 10 minutes in advance of each session and no one will be allowed to enter the examination premises after that.

Therefore, the candidates should arrive an hour in advance to get the instructions regarding the exam and are prohibited from carrying any electronic devices including mobile phones, digital watches etc. into the examination premises. The candidates are also advised to bring any one of the identity cards issued by the Central and State Governments and a passport-sized photograph with any identity proof such as Aadhaar cards, driving license, Voter ID card, PAN card, passport etc. The candidates should wear masks at the examination centers and maintain social distancing, as per Government guidelines relating to examinations," he added.
