Additional trains between Chennai and Coimbatore from 30th October

The railways department announced that additional train services between Chennai and Coimbatore will be begin from Saturday, 30th October with an increased number of coaches.



Coimbatore: Additional train services will be operated from Saturday, 30th October.

According to the Salem Railway Division press release, train services between Coimbatore and Chennai are increased with additional permanent coaches. ‘Coimbatore Rail Service’ -02675 and 02676 will be brought into use from tomorrow. The train will run with 2 coaches of AC Chair Car, 13 coaches of Class II Chair Car, 4 coaches of General Second Class, and 1 coach for goods.

Similarly, trains will run from Chennai Central Railway Station to Mangalore with 02601 and 02602 from October 29th with 22 added coaches with 5 AC coaches, 10 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class and 2 coaches for goods.
