Coimbatore District Collector Dr. G. S. Sameeran orders liquor stores to down shutters on Miladi Nabi Oct 19

Coimbatore All TASMAC outlets in Coimbatore, bars operating in clubs in entertainment and recreation category, bars in restaurants and star hotels, Tamil Nadu hotels and bars selling imported liquor should function on the occasion of Miladi Nabi in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Collector Dr. G. S. Sameeran has ordered the closure of all liquor stores in the district in view of the forthcoming Miladi Nabi festival on the October 19.

According to a press release, issued by the district administration, All TASMAC outlets in Coimbatore, bars operating in bars operating in clubs in entertainment and recreation category, bars in restaurants and star hotels, Tamil Nadu hotels and bars selling imported liquor should function on the occasion of Miladi Nabi in Coimbatore. Legal action will be taken against those who sell liquor in violation of the rules.
