Kovai Kutralam floods: Tourists banned again from visiting the waterfalls

Due to heavy rains in the Western Ghats tonight, the amount of water coming to Kovai Kutralam has increased. Due to unavoidable reasons tourists to Kovai Kutralam will be suspended till further notice today.


Coimbatore: Kovai Kutralamis located at the foothills of the Western Ghats in the Sadivayal region of Coimbatore. It is a tourist destination for the people of various western districts including Coimbatore.

Tourists have been banned from bathing inKovai Kutralam since last night.

The Forest Department has announced thatKovai Kutralam will be closed until further orders due to flash floods last night on 8.10.21 Due to heavy rains in the Western Ghats tonight, the amount of water coming to Kovai Kutralamhas increased.
