The next phase of Mega Vaccine Camp against Covid-19 to be held on October 10 in Coimbatore

The camp is scheduled to begin by 7am in the morning and will be conducted in 321 sites.


Coimbatore:The next phase of the Mega Vaccine Camp as per the orders of the Tamil Nadu Government to curb Covid-19 will be held on October 10 at 321 camp sites, beginning 7 am.

85-90 percent of the population in Coimbatore Corporation have been inoculated with the first dose of vaccination against Covid-19 while 1,25,000 are eligible for the second dose. Those who have been injected with Covishield will get their second dose after 84 days of the first dose and those who received Covaxin can get the second dose of the vaccination after 28 days. Doctors have clarified that consumption of non-vegetarian food will not affect those who are being vaccinated.

The Coimbatore district administration has advised people to get their jabs against Covid-19 during the Mega Vaccine Camp.
