Festive special trains announced between Coimbatore and Chennai

Chennai-Coimbatore Special (No. 06005) will leave Chennai Central at 11.30 pm on October 13 and November 3 to reach Coimbatore at 7.30 am, the next day.


Coimbatore: The Railway Administration said a special train will be operated on the Coimbatore-Chennai route ahead of Vijayadashami and Diwali festivals.

In this regard, the press release issued by the Salem Divisional Railway Administration said the Chennai-Coimbatore Special (No. 06005) will leave Chennai Central at 11.30 pm on October 13 and November 3 to reach Coimbatore at 7.30 am the next day.

On its return journey, the Coimbatore-Chennai Central Special (No. 06006) will leave Coimbatore at 11.30 pm on October 17 and November 7 and reach Chennai Central at 7.20 am the next day. The train will stop at Tirupur, Erode, Salem and Katpadi stations.
