Local body elections: IAS Officer, T.Abraham appointed as 'Election Observer' for Coimbatore

With the local body (rural) ordinary elections are scheduled to be held on October 6 and 9. T. Abraham IAS has been appointed as the Election Observer, to oversee the entire election process in the district.


Coimbatore: In order to monitor thelocal body (rural) ordinary elections scheduled to be held on October 6 and 9,the State Election Commission has announced that T. Abraham IAS, Special Secretary,Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has been appointed as the 'Election Observer' for Coimbatore district.

Coimbatore District Election Officer, District Collector G S Sameeran had informed that any complaints related to the election like violation of mode of conduct can be reported to the helpline - 7397308583.
