Pre-bookings for TNSTC buses begin well ahead of Diwali season

Tickets can be booked using the www.tnstc.in website or the TNSTC Government app or private apps.

Coimbatore: Reservation of bus tickets for the Diwali week has already begun, with pre-bookings on at full swing for Government bus services.

Though Diwali will be celebrated this year on November 4, reservations were done in the state from Monday by those who travel to their hometowns for the festival. Tickets can be booked using the www.tnstc.in website or the TNSTC Government app or private apps.

Over 19,000 buses are being operated throughout the state of Tamil Nadu and special buses will be operational for at least five days before and after the festival. 4000 buses were operated last year, and plans are afoot for a similar operation of bus services as well as setting up of special bus stands. Transport officials stated that the Transport Minister is expected to make announcements in this regard soon.
