Five Coimbatore Corporation officials abruptly transferred

Shiv Das Meena, the Secretary of Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, ordered the immediate transfer of the five Corporation officials.


Coimbatore: Some Coimbatore Corporation officials and Smart City project officials have been abruptly transferred under the orders of Shiv Das Meena, the Secretary of Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department.

The transfer of the five officers including Coimbatore Corporation Chief Engineer, Lakshmanan is with immediate effect.

Chief Engineer Lakshmanan was relieved of his duties and his work in another department has not yet been assigned. Parvathi, a female engineer in the Corporation has also been transferred as the Vellore Corporation Sewerage Project Officer. Gnanavelu, another senior engineer has been transferred as the Erode Corporation Sewerage Project Officer. Assistant Engineer Saravanakumar has been placed on a waiting list without any other responsibility.

Coimbatore Corporation Urban Planning Officer, S Ravichandran has also been transferred as the Madurai Corporation Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Reconstruction Project Officer. R Ramasamy, Sewerage Project Officer, Erode Corporation assumes the post of Engineer Gnanavelu in Coimbatore Corporation. Madurai Corporation Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Reconstruction Project Karuppathal has been appointed as the Coimbatore Corporation Urban Planning Officer.
