Power outage in Ukkadam and surrounding areas on Saturday

Power outages once a month is scheduled for monthly maintenance work in areas within the Coimbatore district.


Coimbatore: There will be a power shutdown in Ukkadam and surrounding areas on Saturday, as per the Electricity Board.

Power Distribution Circle, Race Course, Coimbatore City Central Divisional Executive Engineer Duraisamy in a press release stated, "Power outages once a month is scheduled for monthly maintenance work in areas within the Coimbatore district. Based on this, there will be no electricity in Ukkadam area from 9 am to 2 pm, on Saturday.

The areas as follows:

Variety Hall Road, Town Hall, Tyagi Kumaran Market, Oppanakara Street,Selvapuram, Kembatti Colony areas, Karumbukadai, Aathupalam, Ukkadam, Sungam Bypass Road, Shanmuga Nagar, Alvin Nagar, Indira Nagar, Pari Nagar and Dr. Munisamy Nagar areas around State Bank Road, Collectorate, Railway Station Areas, Government Hospital and Lalpet.
