Rameswaram Express from Thiruvananthapuram to Coimbatore cancelled


Coimbatore: Train No. 06185 Thiruvananthapuram-Guwahati Special will leave Thiruvananthapuram on August 19, 26 and July 3 and 10.

Upon return the train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 5 pm on Saturdays and stop at Ernakulam Town, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Chennai Central, Vijayawada and Bhubaneswar. It will arrive at Goa at 9am on Tuesday the 4th and the train arrives in Coimbatore on Sunday morning at 2.27 p.m.

Special trains (06186) will leave Thiruvananthapuram on July 23, 30 and July 7 and 14. The train will leave Guwahati at 6.45 pm on Wednesdays and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11.30 pm on Fridays. The train will reach Coimbatore on Friday at 12.52 pm.

Southern Railway said tickets booking has begun for the service. The Rameswaram-Coimbatore weekly special train (06617) has been cancelled due to maintenance work on the Pamban railway bridge. The Salem Southern Railway said that the train which left Rameswaram at 19:27 yesterday and reached Coimbatore at 6.30 am today has been cancelled.
