200 areas have been isolated in Coimbatore district


Coimbatore: District administration official said more than 200 areas in Coimbatore district have been isolated. The spread of coronavirus is increasing in Coimbatore district. Currently the number of daily casualties has increased to over 3000.

Various measures are being taken on behalf of the corporation to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The health department has been carrying out various activities by the corporation authorities including a medical camp in the corporation, increasing the number of tests, and isolating infected people. Intensive action is being taken in rural areas to control the spread of coronavirus on behalf of the district administration.

A district administration official said, "Corona-infected homes in Coimbatore district are being isolated. And if there are more than 3 houses on the street then that street is being isolated. More than 200 areas in Coimbatore district have been isolated. The public needs to be safe and vigilant as the spread of the disease continues to increase."
