Details of last bus timings of daily buses from Coimbatore to various other places have been announced owing to the night curfew clamped across Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: Last bus timings on a daily basis from Coimbatore to various other places have been announced with night curfew clamped across Tamil Nadu.

Officials from Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Coimbatore Division stated that "Buses operating from Coimbatore were operational based on the time required to reach their respective destinations by 9 pm.

About 33 luxury buses are being operated from the Coimbatore Gandhipuram bus stand to cities like Chennai, Bangalore and Tirunelveli. These buses usually start services from 5 am onwards. The last bus service to these areas from Gandhipuram bus stand will be at 11 am.

Similarly, buses from Singanallur Bus Stand to Madurai, Theni, Virudhunagar, Trichy and Karur will be operational from 5 am onwards. The last bus to Karur will leave at 7 pm and the last buses to Trichy, Madurai and Theni will leave at 5 pm. After this, the next bus service will only be in the morning hours.

Bus services from Gandhipuram Central Bus Stand to Salem, Erode, Sathyamangalam, Tirupur and Dharapuram will be available from 4.30 am onwards. The last bus will leave for Salem at 6 pm, to Erode at 7 pm, and at 8 pm to Sathyamangalam, Mettupalayam, Tirupur and Dharapuram. The last bus from Ukkadam to Pollachi will leave at 8.30 pm and the bus to Palani will leave at 7 pm.

The officials stated that the last buses to their respective destinations will be at 9 pm.
