Coimbatore District records 18,492 first time voters, total voters rises to 30,82,028 this year

Election Commission officials released the final list of voters for the 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore on January 20th.



Coimbatore: Election Commission officials released the final list of voters for the 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore on January 20th.

But even after that the addition of names in the list was happening online.

After this, another list of eligible voters was released the day before yesterday on behalf of the district administration. In this list there are 10,279 new male voters, 10,546 new female voters and 19 new transgender voters which makes a total of 20,844 new voters.

A total of 18,492 are youngsters of age 18-19 years old. In the final list a total of 1560 voters were removed due to death, area changes and double entries.

Election Commission officials stated that " According to the list released last January 30,62,744 voters were there. After the additional information there are about 30,82,028 voters in Coimbatore.

Here is the list of voters in the 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore:

Mettupalayam Constituency: 2,96,870 voters

Sulur Constituency: 3,17,124

Kavundampalayam Constituency: 4,65,728 voters.

North Constituency: 3,38,648 voters.

Thondamuthur Constituency: 3,26,779 voters.




Coimbatore South Constituency: 2,52,753 voters.




Valparai Constituency: 2,01,479 voters.
