Corporation Commissioner urges fresh graduates to apply for paid government internship programme in Coimbatore

New graduates get a rare opportunity to work in the District Corporation through The Urban Learning Internship Program (TULIP) in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: City Corporation Commissioner P Kumaravel Pandian today presented the new graduates with a rare opportunity to work through The Urban Learning Placement Program (TULIP) in Coimbatore. The project is a joint venture between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Corporation of Coimbatore has offered this unique opportunity for new graduates to gain self-confidence and to come up with innovative ideas for the Corporation.

Applicants who desire to be a part of this internship must have completed graduation within the last 18 months. The maximum duration of this internship is one year. There are 42 vacant positions and a stipend of Rs 7000 will be issued for BA and BSc graduates and a stipend of Rs 10000 will be given to Engineering/Post Graduate Social Work and Law graduates.

Since the working environment of the corporation is a challenging platform, this internship will prepare for opportunities across the globe. for the graduates.
