News that passenger train will be fully operational from April is false - Railway Administration


Coimbatore: Railway Administration has said that the news that passenger train will be fully operational from April is false. Operation of passenger trains were completely stopped due to the coronavirus spread. The railway administration said that people should not believe the news spread that all passenger trains will be reactivated from April as the lockdown is gradually decreasing.

As the date of full operation of the passenger train has not been fixed yet, the railway administration has appealed to avoid spreading information based on speculation. In addition, passenger train services are being gradually increased as the number of people getting infected is low. Now only essential freight and passenger trains are currently operating. However, it has been officially announced that the full train service will commence soon.
