Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian inspects rainwater flooded areas in the South Zone of the City!

Corporation Commissioner orders district officials to remove stagnant rainwater immediately.


Coimbatore: Due to heavy rains in Coimbatore, rainwater can be seen flooding across the city.

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian conducted inspection at government quarters and Ganga Nagar area in Coimbatore South regarding the flooding caused by the recent rains.



Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian then ordered the district officials to remove the stagnant rainwater using motor pumps. He then ordered the officials to build a wet mix road in the area.

District Engineer R Lakshman, Executive Engineer Gnanavel, Deputy Engineer Vimalraj and Kanagaraj were present during the inspection.
