Coimbatore: The Federation of Bus Operators Associations of Tamil Nadu (FOBTN) has announced private bus services will be resumed from tomorrow, June 10.
The apex body of all private bus associations on Tuesday informed that all COVID norms and guidelines would be adhered to and operations will resume from June 10.
Barring COVID hotspots like Chennai, Chengalpattu and Thiruvalluvar districts, the private buses will resume operations after 78 days of break at 60% occupancy, FOBTN informed.
All the buses will run between 5 AM and 9 PM at the usual fares. Drivers and conductors of city and mofussil buses will be provided with government-prescribed safety gears, they told.
