Online admissions begin for classes 1 to 9 in corporation schools: Corporation Commissioner


Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Sravan Kumar Jatavath said that corporation schools have initiated admissions for classes 1 to 9 through online.

In a press release today, he said, "16 Higher Secondary Schools in Coimbatore Municipal Corporation (6th to 12th grade), 11 higher secondary schools (6th to 10th standard) 1 middle school (6th to 8th grade), 13 Elementary Schools (Grades 1 to 8), 42 Primary Schools (Grades 1 to 5) and a higher secondary school for the hearing impaired with free residential facilities for boys are doing exceptionally well."

He said, currently, admissions are being held online for both Tamil and English medium for grades 1 through 9 for the academic year 2020-21. He said the schools are equipped with excellent infrastructure, drinking water, toilet facilities, smart classrooms, and extra-curricular training (yoga, karate, etc.) with highly educated, well-trained and experienced teachers.
