TN govt’s Overseas Manpower Corporation invites applications for jobs in Oman, Kuwait - District Collector

In a statement issued by the District Collector, he has requested the eligible unemployed people to make use of this opportunity to work abroad. 

According to the release, the Overseas Manpower Corporation Limited (OMC), functioning under the aegis of the Tamil Nadu government, has been operating for over 40 years and has employed thousands of candidates in overseas. IELTS training for employing Diploma and B.Sc Degree (Male / Female) nurses in the UK and Ireland are also provided by the The monthly salary ranges from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh.

Eligibility 

Those with 10th pass and ECNR passport holders with valid Arab driving licences for light vehicles in the age group of 25-45, can apply. 

Arab cuisine house cook (male) with salary from Rs. 25,000 - 32,000 and women housemaid with monthly salary range from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 28,500 are required in large numbers in Kuwait. Food, lodging, air ticket and medical benefits will be provided by the employer in Kuwait.

There is high requirement for skilled labour -- Electrician, Electrical Technician & OH Lineman, Plumber, Carpenter, Fitter, Mason at a leading private company in Oman. Monthly wages will be paid according to qualifications and experience. The eligible age group is 21-35.

In a bid to create awareness among the masses, an awareness and special registration camp will be held at the Office of District Employment and Employment Guidance Center located at Mettupalayam Road, Thudiyalur Coimbatore, 641 029 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Registration Fee 

Registration fees Rs. 590 - For Labor, bricklayer, carpenter, fitter, plumber, painter, ITI, Diploma holders with professional experience, hotel staff and undergraduates.

Rs. 1003 for Masters in engineering graduates, nurses, para-medical technicians and Rs. 1770 for allopathy doctors. 

Registration fee for final year students (UG) is Rs.150. Masters, engineering graduates, nurses, para-medical technicians is Rs. 400 and for allopathy doctors the fee is Rs. 500. 

Those interested in registering at the special registration camp are asked to come along with a self-contained application, a copy of the educational experience and a passport, along with a photo.
