Regional Passport Office, Coimbatore proposed to organise a “Passport Mela” at Coimbatore on Saturday, the 05th March 2016 for the benefit of residents of Coimbatore, Salem. Erode, Namakkal, Tirupur and The Nilgiris.
Shri S.Sasikumar, Regional Passport Officer, Coimbatore accompanied by his team of Officers and Staff of RPO Coimbatore will hold the Passport Mela at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), 25 AGT Business Park, (Near Lotus Eye Hospital) Avinashi Road, Civil Aerodrome Post, Coimbatore 641 014.
Residents of Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Namakkal, Tirupur and The Nilgiris districts can make use of this opportunity. Applications for issue of Ordinary International Passport valid for 10 years under Normal Course with usual documentation will be accepted at the Passport Mela. Applicants who have registered their applications through online at www.https:/ / passportindia.gov. in and obtained valid ARN can take appointment for 05.03.2016, and approach the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) on the scheduled appointment time. Appointments, to submit the applications at PSK on 05.03.2016, will be opened on 01.03.2016 at 1.30pm.
Applicants with appointments alone will be allowed inside the PSK and their application alone will be processed. Passports would be issued to applicants on receipt of clear police verification report from the district police aut orities and subject to other internal clearance.
Tatkaal and issue of Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) applications will not be accepted on that day. No Walk-in applications will be accepted on this date.
