Speaking after the inauguration, he said the scheme would be beneficial to the farming community and to all the public who buy the products that the agricultural community produce.
The Collector apprised that the main purpose of this newly opened Farmer's Fair Price Shop is to ensure that all the products that farmers produce are made available to the public at reasonable prices.
In addition, smart cards can be registered and products can be delivered at a reasonable price using the smart cards.
The farmers can register their Farmer’s Protection Plan Card and products can be purchased at subsidized prices, when needed.

Kavitha, District Divisional Revenue Officer, Jayakumar Tahsildar - Tiruppur North, Jaya Ganesh, President of Tamil Nadu Farmers Fair Price Shop, Krishnakumar, Deputy Executive Officer, Kishore and many others were present at the event.
