Electoral list for local body elections of Coimbatore district released

Coimbatore: Ahead of the local body elections, the voters list with additional sheets I and II comprising a total of 30,99,422 voters in Coimbatore district which includes Coimbatore Corporation, 3 Municipalities, 37 Panchayats, 12 Panchayat unions has been published.

Coimbatore: Ahead of the local body elections, the voters list with additional sheets I and II comprising a total of 30,99,422 voters in Coimbatore district which includes Coimbatore Corporation, 3 Municipalities, 37 Panchayats, 12 Panchayat unions has been published.

The total of voters in Coimbatore Corporation is 7,26,223 (male) 7,22699 (female) and 199 (other gender), and in total 14,49,121 voters. 

In three municipalities 93,588 (male) 97,890 (female) and 13 (other gender), in total 191491 voters. 

In 37 panchayats, 2,76,344 (male) 2,88,746 (female) and 76 (other gender) in total 5,65,166. In 12 panchayat unions, 4,36,409 (male) 4,57,158 (female) 77 (other gender) and in total 8,93,644.
