CBSE Class 12 results declared; Chennai region bags second position

The CBSE class 12 examination results were declared today and 83.01 percent students passed the examinations in the country.

About 11,86,000 students took the CBSE examinations at 4,138 exam centres in the country and 12,000 students wrote these examinations in Tamil Nadu.  Students can view the results on websites like www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in, and www.results.nic.in.

Ghaziabad girl Meghna  Srivastava topped the examinations in the country and Noida girl Anoushka Chandra came second.

Based on the pass percentages, the top three regions are Trivandrum region - 97.32 percent, Chennai- 93.87 percent, and Delhi 89 percent.
