Power Outage Scheduled in Vadavalli Area Tomorrow (16.07.2026) for Maintenance Work

Coimbatore: Several areas in and around Vadavalli will face power disruption tomorrow (July 16) as monthly electrical maintenance work is scheduled at the S.N. Palayam sub-station. The power supply will remain suspended from 9 AM to 5 PM across affected localities.

The maintenance work, which is part of routine monthly operations, will impact power supply to numerous residential and commercial areas. According to the official announcement, the outage is necessary to ensure the safety and efficiency of the electrical infrastructure in the region.

The areas that will experience power disruption include Seeranaickenpalayam, Bappanahickenputhur, Vadavalli, Vedapatti, Veerakeralampudur, Thelugupalayam, Velandipalayam, Sai Baba Colony, Selvapuram, Gandhi Nagar, and Anna Nagar. Residents and businesses in these localities are advised to plan accordingly for the eight-hour power outage.

Local authorities have requested residents to make necessary arrangements and ensure that essential appliances are switched off during the maintenance period. The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has assured that power supply will be restored promptly after the completion of maintenance work by 5 PM, subject to the successful completion of all scheduled activities.

Residents are advised to keep backup power solutions ready, especially for essential needs. Commercial establishments are encouraged to inform their customers about the temporary disruption to avoid inconvenience.
