TNAU Offers Training on Mushroom and Moringa Value-Added Products

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's Post Harvest Technology Centre is organizing a two-day training program to teach methods of preparing value-added food products from mushrooms and moringa on July 14 and 15.




The training, scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm, will cover the preparation of various moringa-based food products including moringa powder, dal powder, sambar powder, biscuits, adai mix, pickles, and noodles.




Similarly, modern technologies for preparing mushroom-based value-added products such as mushroom powder, soup mix, biscuits, pickles, and mushroom extraction technology will also be introduced during this training.




Farmers, entrepreneurs, and the general public interested in participating in this training must pay a fee of Rs.1,770 (Rs.1,500 + 18% GST) on the first day of the training.




The training will be held at the Post Harvest Technology Centre located near Gate No. 7 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University campus on Marudhamalai Road.
