StartupTN Opens 7,500 Sq Ft Startup Centre at TNAU Coimbatore

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission (TANSIM) has inaugurated a StartupTN centre spanning 7,500 square feet at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore, offering infrastructure and support facilities for emerging businesses.

Singai G. Ramachandran, Chairperson of TANSIM, briefed about the 12,000 sq feet space that can be used to set up dedicated office space and invited startups to make use of the infrastructure to build and expand their businesses while creating employment opportunities.

The centre features 61 co-working spaces, training areas and conference rooms, offering entrepreneurs a collaborative environment to develop their ideas, connect with other startups and access essential workplace facilities.

In addition to the shared workspace, the centre has another 12,000 square feet of space that can be used to establish dedicated offices tailored to the specific requirements of startups, with conference rooms, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and other facilities.

The initiative aims to provide entrepreneurs with accessible workspace options and infrastructure to support business growth. Startups requiring a dedicated office instead of co-working facilities can contact [email protected] with their requirements.

“We welcome startups to build, grow and create job opportunities for many more here,” Ramachandran said.

The new centre is expected to contribute to Coimbatore’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing workspace and facilities for startups looking to establish or expand their operations.
