Power Outage Announced for Pollachi, Kalappatti, and KK Chavadi Areas Tomorrow

The Electricity Board has announced a power outage in Pollachi, Kalappatti, and KK Chavadi areas on September 18 from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at substations.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a scheduled power outage for several areas in Pollachi, Kalappatti, and KK Chavadi on September 18, 2023. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at the respective substations.

In Pollachi, the affected areas include Pollachi Town, Vadugapalayam, Chinnampalayam, Unjavalampatty, Kanjampatty, Eripatty, Kottampatty, Puliyampatty, Achipatty, Jothi Nagar, Sulasuvaranpatty, Singanaloor, and Ambarapalayam.

The KK Chavadi substation maintenance will affect power supply in Savadi Puthur, Navakkarai, Veerappanur, Kaliyapuram, Eachanari, NJ Puram, KV Palayam, Podanur, and Vellalore.

Areas serviced by the Kalappatti substation that will experience the power outage include Kalappatti, Veeriyampalayam, Cheran Ma Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Chitra, Kaikolapalayam, Valiyampalayam, Balaji Nagar, KR Puram, Jeeva Nagar, Vilankurichi, Thanneer Pandal, Lakshmi Nagar, Murugan Nagar, Peelamedu Industrial Estate, Sharp Nagar, Maheswari Nagar, Kumudam Nagar, and Sengaliyappan Nagar.

The Electricity Board has advised residents and businesses in these areas to plan accordingly for the scheduled power interruption. Normal power supply is expected to resume by 4 PM after the completion of the maintenance work.
