Coimbatore: The TAPMA has opined that the TN Budget 2022-23 has disappointed them.
The Tamil Nadu Pump Manufacturers Association, TAPMA, said it was disappointed that the Tamil Nadu government's budget did not have any scheme for the welfare of micro industries.
R. Kalyan Sundaram, President, Tamil Nadu Pump Manufacturers Association (TAPMA), said, "It is disappointing that no plan mentioned in the Tamil Nadu budget for the welfare of micro-enterprises which play a major role in industrial development."
They urged the Government of Tamil Nadu to provide subsidies for micro industries throughout the Coimbatore Industrial Estate, one of the five industrial estates announced. When so allocated, all the structures can be created through the cluster scheme of the Central Government.
They added that it is disappointing that there is no provision for Coimbatore's infrastructure.
