Nilgiris: While they were on a patrol in the Pandalur forest region the forest officers have arrested three people who set fire to the forest.
Three persons were arrested for setting fire to the Nilgiris forest area.
A team of forest department officials, led by Parameswaran conducted the raid in the Pnadalur regions in Nilgiris and caught people setting fire in the area to the forest in the opposite direction.
Investigations revealed that they were Prem Kumar 31, Vijayakumar 45, and Kamal Haasan 44 from the same area, and the forest officials arrested all three.
